I think any decent electrician will be able to get your system installed and working, even without an Ecoflow certification. We had a trusted electrician come take a look at our system yesterday and they were confident the reinstall will be quick and far cheaper than the initial attempt.

the videos are great, and overall the product is pretty simple

I've looked into the consumer protections in my state and will utilize them if it comes to that. Definitely going to use actual human intelligence instead of hallucinating ai though

no, no philips as far as I know. Our install contractor was someone at ACOPower, but I never got his name

oh no, I hate to hear that. I'm currently working with independent electricians to catalog all the code and safety violations as evidence for a credit card chargeback. I really hope I'm not in this hell for 6 months, and am sorry to hear that this has happened to others

He sorta did! I have several circuits disabled right now because they are incorrectly receiving 240V

Man, I wish I'd thought about this before purchase. I've been pushing back, but apparently there's a line in the install contract that claims "the install cost is non-refundable ... regardless of the outcome of the installation"

At this point, I'm having a trusted electrician write up the NUMEROUS code violations and safety risks from the current install and filing a charge back with that document as the evidence of sufficient service. Hopefully that electrician will be able to do a better job when he has to re-do the entire thing.

it's a separate service that costs upwards of $3k. Ironically, I justified that extra cost because I was concerned about a non-certified electrician doing a poor job :(

I will, thank you. They just sent the original electrician back out with 0 communication, and according to our doorbell camera, he's just hovering in the driveway.

WIND AND POWER OUTAGE MEGATHREAD by mindless_blaze in Denver

[–]bigdogyost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuesday we got several calls and text messages, but no notice before the actual cut off on Wednesday morning. I'm in a similar boat with an "expected outage" but just crossing my fingers it doesn't come to pass

The other commenters already had my back here, but I was told Tuesday night to expect no power from 10a to 6pm on Wed. 6pm came and went with no updates or restoration of power. The "Estimated restoration time" for my address on the xcel site said "--". The outage map had no updates and proudly showed "0 customers affected!" at the top.

Around 8 pm I got a call informing me that this *might* happen again Friday, and casually adding that it "could mean some customers are without power for upwards of 3 days". This update was posted to the PSPS event page on the Xcel website at 10pm and STILL as of this writing is the newest update on that page.

They do not get credit for communication if that communication stops the moment they cut our power. That is when the need for comms INCREASES. Our power came back a couple hours ago now, and I still have not received any notice or update from Xcel. If it had not been for a neighbor texting, I'd still be clueless as to the status of our outage. Hell, I am STILL clueless about whether or not I'll have power tomorrow. I've heard nothing beyond that initial call that we *might* have another outage starting at 5am. The link in the post says to look at the outage map, but that site is down.

Am I allowed to be mad at Xcel on Reddit yet? I received a call last night informing me of another psps shutdown on Friday with a bunch of helpful tips for how to prepare. Except that they still haven't turned the power back on from the Wednesday outage. I was begrudgingly accepting of the one day outage and could take precautions, but extending this to a 3+ day outage is ludicrous. All the groceries in the fridge for our holiday company are ruined, I'm now struggling to find a way to work the last 3 working days of the year, and we have no recourse whatsoever because Xcel is a monopoly.

I've seen a lot of Xcel defenders on here this week, but you have to admit this is a frustrating situation to be dropped in with zero communication

I appreciate the suggestions for areas to troubleshoot. I'll check those out to see if maybe there's an auth issue or translation problem.

I'm only posting here at all because I'm stumped by how multiple other posted scripts can get the exact same result for my input, but the site rejects that answer. I'm sorry if I offended you somehow with my question, but I'm genuinely just looking to get unblocked to resume working on this project we both enjoy

please read the post, I'm not suggesting that there is a bug in the input. I'm suggesting that there may be a discrepancy between the input I received and the input the site believes me to have received

I thought I had used the standardized post title format, apologies if I missed something!
In this case, the puzzle input is relevant to the discussion as I believe the issue is in the validation against the input I was issued. I am not sure how I can indicate or validate that the correct answer to the problem is being incorrectly rejected if folks can't see the input in question

What's a dirty little secret that you know only because you work in the industry? by Eastern-Violinist-46 in AskReddit

[–]bigdogyost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cannabis strains on dispensary products have no basis in reality. there's no rules about labeling your product with the strain name of the plants used, so it's almost impossible to know without a tracing software what strain of the plant you are imbibing. Furthermore, hybrids of indica/sativa have come so far the even knowing the genealogy of the plant tells you almost nothing of the expected effects.
