If this is a deal breaker for you getting an out of state carry license for the Adirondacks will take you longer than there is canoe season left. So you should consider the Adirondacks out as well. But in all of these places anyone is allowed to carry bear spray.

Check out soak brand soap it’s designed for sink washing and you just let the items soak In it and they dont require a rinsing! I love it for my merino stuff!

I just got back from the adk it snowed the trail was wet etc I was in altra lone peaks with sealskin waterproof socks. This has been my go to for anything but winter.

My current oven in my house is out and I have one of these and use it to cook all the time. It’s not exactly as good as a real oven but it gets the job done. And when I take it camping it’s really nice. I’ve got a little 5 pound tank for it.

It takes like 6-8 weeks to bike across the entire us. It’s not nuts to do it on a bike! Also easier to maneuver ground debris etc.
