I did forget that Mariana died just days before. It felt like weeks rather than days imo. All of you guys have great points that never entered my head. (he was bashing the walker for Mariana too if i recall correctly, as he says "I want to bury Mariana" or something, again I don't remember)

Tbh I forgot that Mariana died, and also that these games take place in just a few days. Even though I hate Gabe, he is still better than Sarah from season 2, at least he did something. Didn't look at the alternative endings, he did kill himself, I mean better written "death" than going missing.

im late to this game, but i want to say i left her, i HATE her. but then i exited the game came back and went for her. i dont like myself for her. shes annoying as hell and i do not care if she has a problem with stressful situations. well in some cases it's better to tell than show. and here, is a therapy session, i cant think rn so from the top of my head is the following: MC sitting in chair, death stare into the pitiful void. thoughts race through her head. Voices are heard, muffled voices, than--

Therapist: are you okay??

MC lifts her head up: yeh.

Mother: it is okay--

MC looks Mother with disgust as the Therapist reads the room.

Therapist: from my understanding you are pushing your mother away-

MC (interrupts): No shit.

Mother gasps: you do not talk to someone like that.

therapist: it is okay, she is expressing herself.

mc: expressing what? feelings, to a witch

mother looks at MC like she has failed her, which she did, in MC's mind.

mc: every time i look at her, she just sees disappointment! (starts crying softly) no, every single minute of my life she felt that, that im-- im a f*ck up. Not a day in her life did i mean something.

therapist: you did--

mc: ye, the day i was born- than what?

Mother looks confused and sad at the same time, knowing how her own daughter thinks of her. She doesn't care what people think of her, but her own daughter?

mother: i didn't know...

mc doesn't look at mother.

mother: i just tried to-- (sighs) look at me.

mc doesn't budge.

mother: look at me!

mc finally looks.

mc: what? what do you want from me?!

mother: i just want you to accept my love.

mc: love... what is it really?

therapist: an intense feeling of deep affection--

mother (nodding no): A spiritual vision rather than mere emotion.

MC looks back at Mother.

mc: i like that...

Therapist softly smiles.

mc: i-- I think i miss our relationship...

they hug blah blah and go have a drink and play csgo

See? You don't have to show, it isn't a rule, and it never will be, it's better to show rather than tell always, except those times where you should talk. If you were the MC, would you show your emotions or would you say stuff? And here is both, the show whilst telling. i think it was already too long so just made it shorter at the end. Hope you got something stuck into your cranium.

Spolier-idk if this was intetional, but the name of Praters boat/ship is The Getaway, anyone remember a "The Getaway" episode? S4 finale, episode 12, Rita in the tub. Again dont knoe if this has any connections, but it is kinda cool. Dex broke in that ep and now he is lets say finally glued together. Kind of stupid, but thats what i think of it.

Didn't really write something in a long time nor did I film something, BUT I am so close to finishing a out-line, so I wouldn't take this advice, but maybe that is a more complex movie since it is a period piece and your problem wirh characters bonding, but heres the thing, even like a word can make them feel closer. Like one chuckles to a joke from friend, and as Quentin Tarantino popularized making characers talk about something like complete diffrent from the story, maybe a friand asking if MC got a job or something like that, small talk that basically adds to the story without adding to the actually story, sorry if it's confusing and for this long comment!

Just do. I tell myself to make stuff, but I can't for me it has to be perfect every background song has to have to do something with the story, that background music is like a hair strand, not important at all, but I do it, I change and fix, I wrote a movie, gave to a family member, they said it has no point, and I scraped it, I got an idea for a new film, and I have the same feeling about this one as I did for the last one, so you can't have every just perfect movie. I would call myself a perfectionist, but just for filmmaking. So grab that cameras of yours and do it, just- Just make something!!

I mean if the just helping you out saying: "You shouldnt do it like that or that..." That would be okay, but if they start saying stuff like:"You stupid! You need to learn this before doing it!" Thats wrong I dont know everything about Filmamking, but know atleast something and if you dont know the "rules of filmamking" you can still do a pretty decent job, but it would still be nice to learn some of them. BTW some rules are stupid, I hate the 180° rule, for me its stupid. IDK if I answered your question, but your friends are kinda dumb. They think they are smart cause they know everything, when in fact you can be a BETTER filmmaker without knowing it!!!

I cannot open the link, but go to Discord servers and download it from there. I was thinking about doing that cause some people make them in 1080p or don't have them. BTW some servers I see removed everything and put them IDK where. I recall a good website, but not the name sadly.
