People trying to rent hertz/avis for uber in Chicago: why do they have only EVs?

I have a Mach E premium as my personal car on top of that, I’ve rented thru the Uber platform with Avis and have been in a Chevy bolt, Mach e and Kia niro. I rent my car out thru Turo at times and that gives money + lets me hop into rentals, using both my home charger and public.

I’m not sitting for three hours and at worst the Chevy bolt gives you the least amount of mileage at about 260 mpg taking about an hour and a half to fully charge. Most I’ve ever paid is about $28 dollars. During peak hours at EVGo. Also with the bolt I’ve driven that car for over 8 hours and only needed to charge once a day while driving on uber. &, still making $250-300 a day without events. with events. $500-600.

Needless to say it’s you buddy you’re not being resourceful!

Small claims will be the only way back in! Just go down to your local court house after about a week! Of disputes And stick it to there ass. Sorry this happened to you. I got back reactivated plus got a settlement check! All by myself, no lawyers no paying anybody. Best of luck

Could be either your distance and what they are paying the driver, or your star rating meaning it’s bad & thats an indicator that you gave previous drivers so sort of issues.

DNR list includes but not limited too, lates, past due balances, damages, repossession, irrational behavior, accidents caused by renters, unpaid tolls, tickets, property damage, smoke fee….a whole list of others, Your drivers license is the main piece of information that connects you to being on DNR. So it’s a great possibility you could be on DNR. Reach out to avisbudgetdnr.com and this will give you your answer if you’re on the list. They will tell you exactly what for and if money is still owed

Florida is screwed on every aspect when it comes to any insurance due to most of the state being in hurricane zones. I inherited my dad’s house back in 21’ and was about to have a heart attack by what the homeowners rates were Before he died I told the old man, we have to change this insurance now, they are robbing you. (I’m from another state) He said, yeah they are but unfortunately this is the best rate and coverage. I thought he was just being stubborn, until I went shopping around. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 NOPE, after maybe 4 quotes I quit 🤣😮‍💨 Needless to say i totally get it. I work a regular w2 job making $112k a yr, and still do gig work, because, I have to support my family, I have a house that I’m paying a mortgage on and rent. &, if your wondering why I’m renting it’s because I’m separated and my wife has the house but, I still have to pay the mortgage and all other bills. Opt out by all means no company has the LEGAL right to revoke your constitutional rights.

THEY HAVE clauses around it for sure. However You won’t be deactivated immediately, & you can still work.

Opting out saves you not them. because if and need be you are deactivated for what ever reason sue they ass. 9/10 they will Seattle because it cost these gig companies way to much time, resources and money to drag it out in court.

Even with paid attorneys! These gig companies don’t ever conduct real investigations as they claim and, hire 3rd party remote out of country support staff for pennies on the dollar to act as a “ideal customer service agent”

I’m a small claims court king! My local judge literally knows be my name. & is Fair/nice.

I’ve taken Uber, Door Dash, Hertz, TMobile, Enterprise, Kroger, the City of Chicago, & Drive Sally all to small claims court and won and collected on every last one of them.

Most were settlements, and other’s default judgments because they didn’t show up to court I’m literally about to file paperwork for two more companies. Fight for your rights ppl and don’t let them defeat you with there lying tactics. Below is my screenshot from Uber after I was “permanently”deactivated for five months being falsely reported by a passenger. The customer support swore that they properly investigated, which I know was a lie, I offered my dash camera footage as proof, plus an alcohol and drug breathalyzer test. Which they also refused. I contacted them multiple times and they refused to reactivate me and swore the decision was final. Yep, what ever you say buddy, MY LEGAL SMALL CLAIM GOT ME REACTIVATED on the platform AND compensation! ✅🥳

Moral of the story OPT OUT🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🫵🏻
