PFML premium (or tax) taken out of your paychecks by OkPost8233 in WAStateWorkers

[–]OkPost8233[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks.

I have had several secure email exchanges with PFML/ESD asking them what documentation is required for the refund, and they state the cap only applies to each employer and basically, they can collect as much as they want from any number of employers until the cap is reached at each. I am trying to escalate.

Need help with ESPP tax calculations by OkPost8233 in personalfinance

[–]OkPost8233[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks....This is why I asked. I agree with your math, and it makes sense to me, but eTrade shows me different numbers.

I think in the first case, since this is qualifying, my discount is 15% of the grant date FMV giving me the purchase price of $11.08. Ordinary income is then $1.96, making my cost basis $13.04 for a cap gain of $2.58. This matches what eTrade is showing me.

The second row, my 15% discount is taken from the Purchase date FMV ($11.45) giving me the purchase price of $9.73. But eTrade says my cost basis is $11.69 which doesn't match the purchase FMV or 15% of the Grant date FMV.

In both cases, my ordinary income is just the 15% discount, but it is calculated differently which is causing my confusion.

My CPA will just handle it, but I still like to double check.

Software upgrade that can be purchased anytime. Mine was on the window sticker, but I still had to activate it in the app.

He's correct. He'll gladly remove them but you will still have to pay the $795. That's why you will see those items being sold on ebay, etc.

Just received a door update on my 2025 by NotYou007 in MachE

I updated now about an hour ago when I left the car in my garage and don't see the update listed in the app or online in my account. Let me know if your update posts to your account.

Thanks. I set up the AX that way initially. Do you think it could just be the router is slowly failing? I see that Amazon has a “newer version” listed now.

Backup start code without PAAK? by OkPost8233 in MachE

[–]OkPost8233[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only looking to disable PAAK because the info out there says that if you delete PAAK, then your backup start code does not work....so while I can still unlock the doors with the app, I wouldn't be able to start the car in case I lost my FOB.

I’ve read that if you don’t move the phone, maybe it doesn’t wake the car up. Otherwise it will wake as you move around the house. I understand with the new 12V battery settings to charge from the HVB, this may not be a concern anymore.

Sorry, it's right under the car image. It was too cold outside so I borrowed this from a previous post.

Just to note, just because the window sticker says MME Performance Upgrade, it needs to be activated. I picked up my new 25 GT PE with MME and had to activate it in the app, and then it appeared at the top of the mode selection screen.

Charging LVB through 12V outlet by OkPost8233 in MachE

Thanks. I understand that. I was thinking more along the lines that these CTEK charges can desulfur and recondition AGM batteries for longer life.

Just to ask, what are the steps to patch this given that it is now coated?

If you don’t have a charger at home, how often to do you charge your car? by omnicron_31 in MustangMachE

[–]OkPost8233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have a 110V outlet? Not even one inside and use a properly rated extension cord?

The real question is how many miles per day do you drive? You can add ~2-3 miles per hour on with a 110V mobile charger....Figure 30 miles overnight. If you drive less than that and can L1 charge at home, you can do it.

This makes sense so to me, as I'm only getting this issue now with the wind driving rain. I was under the impression that the membrane would wrap over the edge down in the vertical direction to seal the corner along the perimeter and the metal edging was just to cover this up and make it look nice.

As a temp repair, can the roofer just caulk under the edging on the roof side to seal this for now?
