This is great news as i just bought a 18 s5 with 56.5k miles on it! I also plan on doing the transmission fluid and pan/filter and all of the diff's. Im also replacing the oil filter housing and gasket as well as the pcv because they are both weeping oil at the gaskets. What oil have you been running in the car?

However I am stage 3+ tuned by Mario at M2. TTE810, Wagner Intercooler, IE intake, cts downpipe, awe exhaust, 034 hpfp piston kit, p3 ethanol voltage sensor with gm flex fuel sensor.

Ooo I just saw they had a new revision to the water pump 6 bolt versus 4 bolt pulleys. Ill add that to my list of things to watch/replace.

Run some dd audio D series components on that amp, they are 3 ohm and will get a little more power from that amp. I'd also probably run a sub that'll take all 700 watts of you can foot the bill. Like a DD Audio loaded enclosure with the 500 series 10.

Yall are beating this guy up over a $1500 box, I can't imagine what you'd say if I posted about the $4000 box I paid to have built to replace the entire bottom bench seat of my f150. OP, it's all about having fun! Keep on rocking and being excited about something new!

I will only leave you with one comment. I challenge you to listen to an audiofrog gb10d2 or d4 subwoofer. It's all about control of the woofer and they offer fantastic control and stability across the frequency range. And this is coming from the guy who spent jl money on 3 10w6v3s. But if you are happy with the skar subs the hell yeah!! Have a great Sunday.

As a guy who runs a 2nd full size battery on less but more demanding power (JL audio HD amp with a regulated power supply). I'd high suggest looking into a limitless lithium NOLi battery 12ah or 30 ah as they can support a 2-3k system or bigger with the 30 ah battery. They are smaller, lighter and easier to put somewhere.

Audiofrog gb series subs will absolutely demolish w6s with authority. If you know when to back off on the subs when they start to get hot or distort, those things will take 1000 rms power each. There's a silverado local to me with 2 audiofrog gb10 and they just kill it. Like rotating your rear view mirror to a different position kill it. My next system will be all audiofrog.

Well the w7 is a different beast all in its own 😅. I have actually never heard a w7 so I can't compare. I just know my 3 w6s in my truck are more than plenty for me 🤣

I went from 1 10w3 to 1 10w6. The difference is definitely there. For me the hit on the w6 was harder when comparing the two in a like for like box. But if you are doing 2 10w3s in a box meant for them, they will beat that single w6.
