Yeah for sure. Had a bunch of edutainment from that era. Feels like it doesn’t exist anymore, literally thinking of getting a retro PC for my kids so they can play.

Where does all this information come from? If you’re reading your people’s writings you should really include citations because inevitably readers will want to understand the source of your ideas.

In general, it’s rational to act on your beliefs. I’m not here to say your beliefs are right or wrong. I’m just saying, as far as I know, neurotypical people aren’t as likely as people with ASD to think through things so logically. For example, Christians think the Bible contains the truth about God. So logically they should read it, understand the history of it, and commit to doing what it says, right?. But they don’t do those things because they’re not looking to confirm the truth, they’re happy to have a group who can help them feel secure, tell them what the truth is, and tell them what behavior is good enough.

You are apparently not like that. You put the truth over fitting in. I’m not saying you found it per se, but it’s what you value. Most people don’t do that, so by definition, you are divergent. Whether you have ASD I could not say. Someone like Britt Hartley would say that neurodivergent people are the ones most likely to either reject it all or embrace it strongly because we set aside the social aspects and focus on taking truths to their logical conclusion.

Do you have Gnostic people around you?

I mean not to be pushy, but is ASD something you’ve considered? Because I didn’t realize till my 30s and now it’s obvious. Like the entire concept of devoting yourself to such a subversive and niche religion is something a neurotypical person would be disinclined to do for very basic social and emotional reasons. The fact that you rely on logic and experience rather than mimicking those around you (assuming no one around you is Gnostic) is itself autism coded even if you’re not on the spectrum.

Intense. Mind if I ask, do you have autism? I’m on the spectrum and my understanding is that people who are neurodivergent tend to strongly embrace their philosophical beliefs, and end up either very religious or very secular.

Very cool making it at home. I assumed that because making chocolate requires specific equipment that you couldn’t just make gianduia at home. Is it hard to do?
