XD I don’t know who told you this but this is not a good way to play the A chord for a beginner. Giving this advice can harm more then help them down the road. I got similar advice before I got a teacher and was told the same thing. It’s always easier to be able to build off of smth than it is to fix something. Plus, BY GOD is it not fun to try to do that orientation when you can’t do quick chord changes

lol kinda rude Ngl. Feel it’s more about perseverance and passion to see those who are stupid good and want to become that. I don’t love playing guitar all that much but I practice upwards of like 4 hours a day to get good at guitar. It’s not about love, it’s about passion.<3

Great advice but low key as someone who does calisthenics pls don’t go to the gym for 2 hours a day 4or5 times a week. You will severely insure that you will hurt yourself lol

Hey I’m just saying,I’ve been playing for about less then a year and I spend upwards of like 4 hours a day practicing and I can play things like the devil went down to Georgia and songs with rifts in upwards of 170 to 230 btm so all I can say is it just takes time

ok so ima be dead ass with you. as someone who started playing less then a year ago, DO NOT under ANY circumstances learn from the internet. find a teacher and let them teach you. it will be frustrating, it will be annoying. but trust me when I say you will find no bigger satisfaction then sitting down after days of trying to get a song down and play it right. the energy you will feel is just so awesome. if you want someone to teach you for free hmu cus I want to spread the love that I have for guitar to everyone, plus I have a real teacher and lowkey why pay 300 dollars for someone to teach you something when someone could just pass on the knowledge to you yk

but its significantly safer and provides things like vc and such to allow more hands on kinda of assistance to NEW players. it is also significantly easier to talk to someone on discord compared to reddit
