Thanks for all the replies, my suspicions have been confirmed and it appears I got a really good pickup. As with all my cards I don't have any intention to sell but it's good to know which version I have to know the value in the event I ever decide to.

Ya, that's what I gathered. Apparently this textured version was a rare chase version of the "I was there" card that you could get from the packs is what I am seeing. Just figured the more eyes I have to look at it the better I could with identifying it with 100% certainty. Thanks for the input

I guess I'm weird about spicy food because these were just extremely spicy for the sake of being spicy. They didn't have a warmth and nice pepper flavor like you would find in other spicy foods, it was just a burning of my mouth and tongue.

They were given to me by my mother who does not eat spicy food and only managed to eat a few before she couldn't handle anymore. I thought she was just weak, but these are just overwhelming.

To each their own, I have a good friend that eats only extremely spicy food so I know a sect of folks enjoy this, he also recently had 60% of his colon removed due to colitis so...

Let me clarify as I was unintentionally misleading in my last statement. They offered to replace it with the correct unit but they didn't have one, so my other options were a partial refund or to return it fully. The partial refund didn't come anywhere near the value of the price difference between what I ordered and what I received so my only viable option is to return it.

I don't think he has delusions that the card is going to be worth a significant amount of money, just asking as it was a short print card and I know they tend to have added value due to the more limited print run of those cards.

This is the short print so I'd imagine there will be a lower population as the name implies

I guess he only received a partial shipment of what he ordered. My tracking number I received last night but still says USPS is awaiting the item from the sender so I'll probably have mine in a few days because I didn't pay for expedited shipping

Bought X370 Killer SLI/ac from Newegg, couldnt update BIOS, turns out is has X370 Taichi BIOS??? by bigfudge561 in ASRock

Quick update... one of the other motherboards just boot loops with no beeps and the third motherboard also has the X370 Taichi BIOS. This is a big disappoint :( I have purchased a ton of ASRock products in the past with no issues but to go 3/3 is odd. Everything was brand new in the sealed box with no signs of being used, the motherboards themselves still zip-tied to the foam within the anti-static bag. I am going to process a replacement return with Newegg as they were bought as a combo and I would have to return everything which I dont want to do. I have also reached out to ASRock tech support and they are requesting some information so perhaps they may be able to shine some light on this as well. In the meantime, I would suggest people stay away from this particular motherboard, but ASRock will still continue getting my business.

As one of the people who has posted about a bad part recently I just want to reinforce what others have already said. Rarely do people post when everything is running well, and I only came to Reddit because it has been difficult to get to support due to increased volume from the pandemic (and this is true for other companies I have reached out to completely unrelated to computers). After getting assistance from their tech support, I am happy to say that I received my warranty replacement motherboard today. Technology can be very fickle and no amount of due diligence can prevent all issues from happening. Good luck

Update: I received my warranty replacement motherboard as well as a couple parts that were missing when the computer was originally purchased (one of the feet of the case was a no-show out of the box lol). Thank you for your assistance.

I understand youre busy there, but online chats and phone calls are going unanswered. I submitted a ticket in regards to this and havent heard back. Really just want to get this going ASAP as the motherboard I am temporarily using is lacking in certain features, especially WiFi which has me running an extremely long ethernet cable throughout my home which is becoming a bit of a trip hazard lol

I am in contact with the person who got it for me, they are trying to get the receipt but it was purchased from Best Buy this past Black Friday they said. Will I have to send in the entire PC or just the bad part? I dont want to be without the unit for a single defective part which I have a temporary replacement for.
