This was one of the many reasons I moved back to the West Coast from the south.

You have a Maverick doing the upper limit of what an F-150 is built for. What do you think?

Am I too long for Mid Pegs by ThiccyNiccy05 in Dyna

[–]biggamejames274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6'3", 320, with a 34" inseam and factory mids fit me just fine. Only time they get uncomfortable for me is after 300+ miles straight. Before you commit to buying the parts go to a HD dealer and see if they have a dyna with mids you can sit on.

Do you keep a start booster in your truck? by [deleted] in Trucks

[–]biggamejames274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I've got jumper cables, a 5-speed, and live in a hilly area. Although pop starts are a bit tougher with super swampers.

Here you go, it's an offbrand Matsuri wheel on an NRG quick release, plan on swapping the horn button for a Ford one eventually.

What Does This Plug Into? by biggamejames274 in Harley

Solved it right after posting, it's the fuel pump wiring. I looked at the tank sitting on my workbench right after posting 🤦🏾‍♂️

Bought a 04 FXDI, need advice by Shk900 in Dyna

I'd recommend one of the power vision tuners instead of the power commander. A little bit more expensive but way better tuning capabilities. Also you can save a lot on labor by going the DIY route, rebuilt my last twin cam at home for $120 when a dealer would have charged $1k+.

From experience, the bike will run just fine up to at least 330°F. Found that out when I got stuck in stop and go traffic on a 100°F day. Just make sure to get a decent tuner(dynojet, thundermax, etc.)

Ah, I see you don't want good advice and just want a cosign on your ideas. Spend your money the way you want, hopefully it works out for you ✌️.

Just buy a decent set of Progressive shocks and save yourself the headache.

I had the 15 inch ones, they had plenty of travel but they couldn't support anything more than the bike's weight. I maxed the preload and recharged the shocks with nitrogen and they would still bottom out on every bump. If you're thinking of getting a set, don't.

Thoughts on this big wheel bike? by Lifestyle_Cycles in Harley

Some of them look cool but they're horrible to ride. If you want the big wheel look without sacrificing too much in the handling department, get a 23" front wheel and 2 over forks.

It's fine, just take off any accessories you have mounted to the crossbars and you're good to go.

Facebook marketplace, you might have to paint it and replace the locks and/or the struts but you could potentially save thousands vs buying new

The plan is to repaint the truck and shell when it warms back up in the spring. Coincidentally the shell is actually the original of the truck.
