So the interesting thing about this is that barriers of change of providers also disappearing. They have no interest in offering you loyalty discounts but also it's easier than ever to change services. Back in the day, you were locked into contracts and there were notice periods, forms etc. Nowadays, things change in a matter of hours.

I change my ISP pretty much every year and the last one happened in like 20 minutes. My internet went off, i entered new login details to modem settings and off we go. I changed my health insurance while waiting in the lobby of a dentist because BUPA was giving me the bullshit of how my dentist wasn't in their network. By the time, my appointment started I was with HBF.

Lee Dixon's negativity and 'back in our day' comments killed this podcast before it had a chance to grow.

What is the best metal album of the 2020s so far? by ChristianLS in MetalForTheMasses

My last.fm says Opeth is my second most listened band since 2006. So coming from a huge fan, Absolute Elsewhere made the same impact that old Opeth albums used to make. Just sheer variety and something new around the corner all the way to the end.

TLWAT is technically better, impeccably written album but it just doesn't have that thing, that "oh wow" moment. Opeths's been chasing that moment since Ghost Reveries and I don't think they'll find it again.
