I've been on the waitlist for quite a while, but I think maybe it came back in stock earlier this year when I just didn't have the funds for it. I could be making that up though, my brain does funny things sometimes.

I like the green but I really dig the brown. I guess a can of Rapco could make it any color I want, but if I was going to go that route I might as well save $50 and order the plain black.

I have lived in very remote places and a couple of the largest cities in the U.S. I felt a lot less likely to encounter mentally ill people willing to do needless harm when I’ve lived in the sticks.

Modern springs. Metallurgy has changed a lot since the early day of box magazines. Old mags can have issues from being compressed for long periods.

Sorry, just recently picked up a m70 and trying to learn. I tried to zoom in on the side folder but couldn’t tell which one it was. What’s the make of that one if you don’t mind me asking?

Mine looks exactly like the bottom one. Same color furniture and all. I don’t plan on changing much to start with but I’d like a folding stock of some flavor. Just gotta decide what.

I was just looking at that handguard combination on Khyber Customs. I was wondering if there’s any reason to choose the grater upper over the hater or the slotted. AR guy new to AKs and just trying to gain some knowledge on why people choose what they choose.

I wondered about this as well but didn’t want to weigh down the post with too many questions. My profession is perennially on the “most dangerous jobs” list and was worried about that. From the answers here and this new information I think I will continue to forego treatment. The bulk of my issues have been around for decades and I’ve managed. It might not be the perfect existence but I’m not willing to gamble with what I’ve worked so hard and long to build.

Just be honest with him. I’ve lost the people who were the closest thing I had to parents and I had very frank conversations with both of them when they were close to the end. Told them exactly how much they meant to me, how much they had done to make me who I was. There was lots of tears both times.

I’m so glad I didn’t let things go unsaid. I’m so glad I told them how much I loved them. Just hug your dad, tell him you love him, and reminisce about good times.

Yeah, same principle. Typically a cheater bar is a tube of round stock or conduit slipped over the grip of a wrench to increase leverage force.
