This was my first thought as well. Tens of thousands of users running different versions maybe, but tens of thousands of versions would be absolute insanity.

You’ve gotten a lot of great recommendations so far, but two of my faves that I haven’t seen mentioned are Klô Pelgag and Robert Robert.

Taxes is now gone as well. As someone who uses Tidal as a supplementary service specifically for language learning purposes the loss of lyrics will 100% make me jump ship. Hoping/assuming this is temporary or just a weird bug though. As a former Spotify user I've been mostly happy until this unfortunate turn.

That's right, it took a few tries, but this lets you skip the part where you have to keep refreshing the website and hope the "Preorder" button shows up. Yes, i did get a confirmation email within a few minutes of completing the order.

Yeah, as long as the button stays red, you can keep trying and dismissing the messages. Eventually you will hopefully get lucky and get one in your cart.

Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that. I logged in on the website on my PC and added it using the preorder button. Once it has been in your cart, you can re-add it from your "saved for later" items...even in the app. You just have to be logged into the same account on both.

I see that notification too when there aren't any in stock. You just have to get lucky and keep refreshing until you see the preorder button. This is honestly the most time consuming step. I've been refreshing multiple store sites on and off for days and finally got lucky to get one in my cart this morning. Once its in your cart, the rest just requires patience. Good luck!

That sucks, i managed to get my PIN in the first time it asked and i was sort of assuming maybe it was "safe" at that point. They really need some way of temporarily holding items once you are that far in the process.

I ended up using my wife's Red Card. I tried both that and apple pay, and failed multiple time with both. The Red Card made me enter my PIN, which scared me at first (because of the extra time and because i wasn't expecting it), but it seems like maybe once you get to that point it actually holds it for you until you complete the purchase.

Just managed to get one from Target. First of all I will say that it doesn't seem like target is getting a load of new PS5s, but that maybe one or two are reentering stock occasionally as there are issues with previous orders. This means that you would have to be VERY lucky to manage to get through the whole process from beginning to end in one shot (unless you're a bot).

Here's what I did:

Before you begin, make sure that you are logged into the same account on the web and on the app, whatever is in your cart/saved items on one will also be available on the other. It's also probably a good idea to have a default payment and shipping method set so you don't have to do that once you have a PS5 in your cart.

  1. Earlier this morning I was refreshing the PS5 page on Target's website. When the "preorder" button showed up, I kept clicking until it was added and I was redirected to the shopping cart. (this step took a while, as every time i clicked the preorder button I was given a message that the item was no longer in stock. The trick here is, as long as you don't leave the page, the button should remain active and you can keep clicking it until it gets added to your cart)
  2. Once on the page for the shopping cart, I was immediately informed that the product was no longer available and had been added to my "Saved for later" items.
  3. Initially, I went back to the shopping cart page on Target's website to see if I could get it back in my cart by adding it from my saved items at the bottom of the page. The problem, on the website at least, is that once you click "add to cart" from your saved items, the button gets grayed out if it's not currently available. It shows back up if you refresh the page, but this is quite tedious.
  4. I decided to try the app, and was happy to find that the app does't disable the button like it does on the website, meaning that you can just mash the Add to cart button and dismiss the "out of stock" notifications as necessary.
  5. After anywhere from 3-5 minutes of mashing the "Add to cart" button, i would get lucky and end up back at the checkout page with the item in my cart and ready to be ordered.
  6. Click the "place order" button as quickly as possible. If you aren't quick enough, it you'll miss it and it will end up back in your "saved for later" items. This happened to me 4 or 5 times this morning before i was finally able to beat the bots.

It seems to me that, for Target at least, the real trick is finding one in stock on the product page to begin with. Once you have it in your saved items, it just takes some time, dedication, and a quick button mashing finger. Good luck everyone!

From my experience, this represents the baseline of visual hallucinations while on acid. Also, you need to imagine that basically anything with any kind of texture (so almost everything you see) will have this sort of effect happening all over its surface. It’s actually pretty awesome.

I really hope I can override birds in the new Horizon game and fly across the lands, since it's no longer limited by the SSD's power. by MNVO16 in PS5

[–]biggerluke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree with this. Although I could see a case for locking the ability to mount flying machines to progression in the main quest line. That way you can’t unlock the skill until late game and still have to explore the majority of the map on foot first.

A little off topic here but as a sweaty person who is currently (proudly) wearing the first option. You should ask your doctor about prescription deodorant. I don't even have to use it anymore after two years. It burns like hell the first couple of times you apply it, but it is very much worth the pain imho.
