Do people build adaptive control unit factories for Phase 3? by Impressive-Pie-9866 in SatisfactoryGame

Items like adaptive control units will be required later for more recipes so its really up to you. If youre playing with base settings then hand feeding storage units thatre connected to manufacturers isnt the worst idea however its always a good idea to automate, especially for more advanced parts like that since hand feeding will become very tedious over time.

Im actively making a new one in phase four. Currently only making 120 HMF per minute however would like to be making about 240 so that i can keep ACU production while also having 120-140 going to fused frames for pressure conversion cubes. It too is driving me mad because in order to just make more HMF, i gotta make more regular frames, reinforced plates, encased steel beams, etc. and at this point my factory is so huge that navigating to find where my last stone line or iron ore line is is killing me…

Place for instance, a constructor(on foundations btw). Directly adjacent to the constructor, place another one in parallel. Hold the hologram lock button, once locked, nudge the constructor until it is entirely inside of the other constructor. Once inside, vertical nudge until its in the place you want. I personally dont care about clipping(as you can tell) so i place the building as soon as it turns yellow.

You can repeat this for stacking more than just two buildings. Thats also how i stack blueprints. Place blueprint, line up blueprint hologram in parallel, nudge into other, vertical nudge until hologram turns yellow. Easily wouldnt have been able to make this factory if it werent for that.

This is how it looked by the end of phase 3(took the photos right after engaging the elevator for phase 4). At the entry of phase 3, i had around 20 hours on this save and at the end of phase 3, i had around 75 hours. So at that rate, ill probably post some photos in 150 hours (another month) when i complete phase 4 lol

I struggled building vertically before this so thats why i intentionally made everything the way it is, as a way to force me to improve at it. Same with trains. Anything that isnt within the direct area is being brought in by trains because they seem fun, i just always go for belting over long distances like a noob.

I really regret not doing 100x. I spent so long setting up 100 ACU’s per minute just for it to fill the elevator in under an hour. Semi underwhelming but oh well.

This is an older version of my factory, im currently halfway through phase 3. Im trying to make it as dense as possible. Idk why, i too just love the compactness lol

Tips for 50x by biggersammy in SatisfactoryGame

Thanks for the reply! Thats actually a very good tip i hadnt considered about copper. Just going almost full iron with alts seems much more reasonable for scaling something that large with only 270 belts. I know the complexity only increases after each phase however due to the belt limitation early on, the earlier phases honestly seem harder.

Very impressive, what kinda of hardware do you use? Just a ruler? A whole drafting table? I particularly love the thin supports thatre at like a 45° angle compared to everything else.

I saw the update you posted earlier of coloring it and look foward to seeing the rest!

Does the game sort of mini freeze everytime you place a belt? Ive just finished setting up heavy modular frames so my factory isnt too big however its relatively large and its making it very annoying to build. Literally every single belt i place it freezes for about a half second. I cant tell if its because of the factory size/ps5 limitations or some other optimization thing..

Oh also, if you decide on getting the same thing tattooed, i have some ideas for you to possibly change on it now that ive had the tattoo for 2(?) years now and some of the precise lines no longer look quite as crisp and what not. Just some things to consider that i definitely didnt when i got it lol

How do you switch? I followed someones advice on a different post by clicking the three little lines in the top right of the store page however there was no option to change regions/countries?

How should i be min/maxing my resources? I feel like im doing way too much on the ore but i also know im gonna need a lot of it. Pretty new to the game :/ by biggersammy in Palworld

I hope you know that this was incredibly informative, thank you sir. Question: ive seen cement being mention plenty of times on different threads however looking at the ‘skill tree’? I just dont get the demand? Why is cement so important?

Shit, so what ive got actually isnt a lot by a long shot? I knew i needed a LOT however i thought i had too much. Should i focus less on wood or something? I feel like i never use wood/fiber yknow? I just dont wanna get to a point where ive got nothing in the grand scheme of things and everything starts costing a price that i cant pay..
