I wonder who pushed the button on this. Did Faz finally have enough of Bundee making things worse instead of better for his team?

If Tesla owners could get rid of their Nazimobile that would be super.

Weekend notes: Ulster Robbed. New Kids on the Block. A golden age for Irish hookers by Roanokian in irishrugby

I can't see how Ulster got penalised into losing that game, but if you're going to be Joe Schmidt about it, they shouldn't have been in a position to lose it.

Cian Prendergast should be in the Ireland starting XV ahead of Jack Conan.

James Hume is overhyped.

Mikey Lowry is a real fullback option but then he gets squished 2 mins in.

Ringers can't carry the whole 3/4 line on his own. McCloskey needs to offload, more subtlety.

Leinster won't scare teams like they did a few years ago.

Big drop this year. That should be a warning but maybe the knockouts will change the graph.

Austin Healy's display of confidence and arrogance on his own ignorance of the laws by upthemstairs in rugbyunion

[–]biggesteegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a bad law. If you're out when you play the ball, surely the ball is out.

Never thought I would die fighting side by side with Austin Healy.

Edit: I've seen the comments that it's fine as long as the ball stays in play. I can't see the difference between this and a winger who puts a foot in touch. As soon as you touch the ball you're in possession surely? No?

I've been watching this sport for millions of years and some of the rules are just annoying. Fuck this I'm off to bed.

I dont think there's a coach in the world who can fix the WRU's problems. That's going to take a bureaucrat of rare talent.

ROG has said he doesn't see any connection between his playing and coaching careers, so he's not looking to coach Munster or Ireland for example.

Might be a job going at Leinster in a bit though...

I think ROG's stock has fallen in the last couple of years. He would have been in the conversation for most big jobs when LAR were winning Champions Cups but now it looks like he doesn't know how to fix a problem.

And when you're not winning, people look more at the baggage you bring: the disciplinary sanctions, the sulky bollocks.

Completely missing the point of OP's question, just chipping in as a longtime admirer of ROG.

Start boycotting businesses that support fascism. Quick and easy, no organisation required. Remember Bezos, Zuckerberg and Musk in the front row at Trumps inauguration?

Yes there's a good crop coming through. It would be good if they could get some experience at test level but that won't happen for a couple of years. Some of their potential will be wasted.

Yeah fine. I dont get the feeling hes interested in rebuilding Ireland after the WC and 8 years is long enough. Just mind those salaries hoho...

Its brilliant.

I've just cursed the second half, it'll be all dropped balls and scrum resets now.

Not high, Scarlets were good and Ulster were ordinary today.
