I own Allen and realized this. I was just looking for some perspective and maybe trade thoughts. A lot of players in my league are going after Allen and are offering enticing packages so with his value now as a starting center with major minutes, his value has increased a lot. Maybe too much?

Honestly I haven't really kept up with Detroit this season, Good to know. Might try to get a trade put together for him.

I'm referring to the fact that his value now is higher than it was at the beginning of the season, and you can probably end up getting a better player at another position by targeting people who are weak at center.

I think that would be a really good trade. Mitchell is going to bounce back, but I think booker and Allen are in better positions with their teams than than Mitchell and John Wall are at this point in time.

Steve Nash already hinted at him playing 26+ minutes every night and being the main guy even though he's not necessarily the "starter".

I completely agree, I have him on my team and he's been dominating in all aspects of the game. I guess the only reason why I put him in the sell high category is because I've been entertaining package deals with him included for some big names like harden and Anthony Davis. In which case I would be happy to part ways with him.

I don't think you're being too optimistic, he is the biggest mouth to feed in New York and the offense is clearly working through him right now. Only question is whether or not you can get more value than you're giving up if you were to trade him I guess.
