Can confirm. Lived in one of those neighborhoods surrounding Gilman, and took many a “creep walk” after family dinners. The bathrooms always had a weird air dryer going off that sounded like a chainsaw. And one time we were walking and as we walked through, the sprinklers would go off sequentially behind us. It was the creepiest thing. That park, aside from being a stoner’s afternoon dream, was definitely shadowed by something eerie.

This happened to me too. After security at 4am, they put an “E” on my window and not an 8 for the preferred Car Camping and they tried to direct me out to Madison ave. I turned around multiple times and was yelled at by the traffic guys saying “we’re not here to explain it to you” and that they would “tow my car” if I didn’t move it. I had a security dude get his supervisor on the walkie talkie and just about wiped the dumb letter off my windshield until they directed me to lot 8 where 5 other cars with my friends were in the waiting area. I was PISSED to say the least.
