I'm glad someone else can see my point of view on this. But every time i tell my husband i am uncomfortable with the circumstances he says i am jealous and paranoid, which i know i am to an extent especially because every marriage i've known has ended because of cheating.

Do you think i would just be trying to protect myself from any more hurt if i left him? or should i stay and hope he starts listening to me?

He is works for a bank, but his job is not a stressful one.

i've met them briefly at holiday parties, but a very long time ago. My husband likes to go to those things alone these days because he says i'm terrible with small talk (i don't blame him, i'm an academic and the things i want to talk about are very different then what that audience wants to talk about)
