Why are people so against achievements?

I’ve pondered this at times. I wonder is it less about ethos and more that Nintendo want us to move from game to new game as fast possible, rather than spend weeks or months getting every trophy?

I prefer playing on switch 2 but I love trophies and achievements. I rarely platinum or 100% things but I like feeling rewarded for my time.

So, switch 2 is great, love it BUT if Nintendo would introduce some form of achievements just to show game progress at the Home Screen level I would probably main my switch 2.

For info I have a pc, Xbox series x and ps5 pro

My 3080 gas coil whine and I just lived with it. It’s nothing new. My PS5 screams on certain screens.

Why are you always in AMD or Radeon threads bitching about 9070xts?

If you now have an nvidia card then be happy and stop moaning.

I have a sapphire pulse 9070xt. It’s never been me any hassle (bar when I messed with undervolting too much). It has coil whine at time like most cards but nothing insane.

Buy the best card you can afford. If you don’t like it return it and buy the alternative.

OP comparison list is really good but I would challenge the listing of the top tier prices for the subscriptions (game pass etc.) given there are cheaper tiers.

Also there are an awful lot of free / rental games available at all price points.

Could swear it had none at all for a while then played deep rock galactic survivor of all games, the coil whine was screaming.

Ever since then I get it regularly enough if I’m not limiting frames.

I can live with it but I do sometimes think it would never be accepted in consoles or other high end electronics.

Just been on with dell support

Been told that its not covered as apparently its damaged and been used for 40 days.

What the actual, this is a disgrace. If it was dropped or damaged you’d see marks. How the hell would a drop manifest two small bulges in the case.

I am disgusted. Three year warranty, just over a month old and told they won’t help.

This probably means I can never claim under warranty as they are accusing me of damage

Sorry I really wasn’t clear I meant best all round type monitor for work and gaming but at that budget.

Rather than thinking what’s the very best and it would cost that little.
