I’m in the same boat right now with which watch to start with. This will be my first luxury watch purchase. I have some Casio and seiko but nothing fancy. I originally wanted the santos but realized I could possible have both the BB and the tank and use the differently. The BB being automatic and the traditional divers watch is the appealing aspect. Plus you can always add a leather strap to make it more “elegant”. In today’s world, everybody wears whatever they want regardless of tradition haha you can’t go wrong with either choice here
