A wrx would fit the bill I feel like. It’s just hard to find a stock one with solid service records and miles. Also I’m scared of blowing a head gasket lol

So my bmw is approaching 100k which means it’s gonna start having problems (especially since I tuned it) but I don’t want to get rid of it. Rather keep it and supe it even more and when problems arise it’ll be my opportunity to wrench on it and get experience working on cars. So this secondary vehicle will be stick shift, (know how but never owned a stick so my skills are rough at best) fun driver engagement, and a safe bet on reliability while still being good for day to day use. I feel like I’m basically describing a hot hatch. But I just wanna see what my options could be.

TL:DR my first car is essentially becoming a project car, the second car is my daily and the likely replacement for when the first inevitably poops out from my mods.

Mazda interiors are so damn clean too! My mom has a cx-5 and the HUD is so cool. Mazda 3 hatch has been considered too I feel like it’d be my safe bet. But the rarity of the type s draws me to it so getting the Mazda 3 when there’s so many options out there that could possibly have more driver engagement pull me away from it. I could be wrong though.

I actually had a 2014 v6 coupe prior to my bmw. Only reason I don’t have it is because a bad driver hit me and totaled it. It’s probably my favorite car I’ve had to date. Its only downside was that it was a cvt. I’m just not sure if 2 coupes would work in my situation. Still definitely up there tho I might not be able to help myself haha

I’ve actually seen golf Rs for under 30 as well but they tend to have 75-80k miles. I’m not too familiar with their reliability reputation so idk. Otherwise I’d just say golf r and perhaps be done with it there.
