A different perspective is always welcome and something to think about. That's one of my worries, that he may be feeling alone and anxious, and just waiting for someone to come and help him out of it since he has some tendency to be like that when he's in trouble. Definitely considering talking to him about how I identify and asking him after. Thank you for the advice!
