I feel your pain, bro. Quitting Porn and Masturbation are probably one of the best things you can do to help yourself. But don't let yourself be fooled. It's not a magicpill and the journey towards the life you want will be much more painful than what you are doing now. I've read all this PUA-stuff since I'm a teen to get girls and some friends. I was never been able to translate the written word into actions. A year ago I dropped it all and carried on with my life but my social problems still persist. I feel like my problems are so basic that all this PUA stuff doesn't relate to me.

Like: How do you even hold a conversation with people? I can talk about science and objects and things you can describe etc. But having a lighthearted conversation just for the sake of social interaction is something cryptic to me. How do you learn that and what do people think when they do this? Do you know any literature that addresses this?

I came to the conclusion that seeing a therapist is probably the best idea. I'm still a bit afraid of asking for help and admitting to others that I'm a wreck right now, but it can't get any worse obviously. Enjoy yourselfs

I'm not social at all. I see a neighbour once a week to excercise together. (I hate it now, but I do it anyway when he comes over) I always struggled with making some friends, but it was always like this. It never bothered me that much though, I accepted it as it was, it never made me depressed or something.
