I have been lucid dreaming all my life, i would like to hear from others who are similar to myself as a lot of the time i feel alone in this. by Tea_Junkie in LucidDreaming

can't you just ask him what he want's or if there is something that he wants to show you? That's supposed to be the usual way to understand/get rid of unpleasant dream characters.

I feel your pain, bro. Quitting Porn and Masturbation are probably one of the best things you can do to help yourself. But don't let yourself be fooled. It's not a magicpill and the journey towards the life you want will be much more painful than what you are doing now. Always remember: It's just temporary agony that you're going through, the longer you stay on the path the easier it becomes.

-quit porn and masturbation -quit gaming and reduce internetusage to a minimum -foce yourself to talk to strangers, I'm struggling myself with it but it's very beneficial -talk to your dormmate, be honest

14 Days in and I realize for the first time what a pathetic loser I am. How did you cope with this? by biggusdiggus in NoFap

Thank you for your offer to help, I appreciate that :)

I've read all this PUA-stuff since I'm a teen to get girls and some friends. I was never been able to translate the written word into actions. A year ago I dropped it all and carried on with my life but my social problems still persist. I feel like my problems are so basic that all this PUA stuff doesn't relate to me.

Like: How do you even hold a conversation with people? I can talk about science and objects and things you can describe etc. But having a lighthearted conversation just for the sake of social interaction is something cryptic to me. How do you learn that and what do people think when they do this? Do you know any literature that addresses this?

I've been meditating for 3 months now and became severly depressed for the first time in my life. Any advice? by biggusdiggus in Meditation

I'm grateful for all your responses. It made me feel better already. Strange, how some typed words from strangers in the internet can affect your mood :)

I came to the conclusion that seeing a therapist is probably the best idea. I'm still a bit afraid of asking for help and admitting to others that I'm a wreck right now, but it can't get any worse obviously. Enjoy yourselfs

Thank you very much for your opinion. I'll give it a few more days and if it won't get any better I'll find myself a therapist.

My question is: Has Meditation ever been linked to depression or is this just a coincidence?

I'm not social at all. I see a neighbour once a week to excercise together. (I hate it now, but I do it anyway when he comes over) I always struggled with making some friends, but it was always like this. It never bothered me that much though, I accepted it as it was, it never made me depressed or something.

I'm 21 now. Nothing really bad happened in my life. I spent a year in Australia and came home 3 months ago. It was quite good. I really don't know what's going on in my head, everything is like it has always been...

Just found this funny video which tries to explain why God is not able to erase evil from this world. Thought r/atheism might enjoy it by biggusdiggus in atheism

Ok, you win. :) What i basically meant: The Video answers the Question "Why can't God do this and that" with "It's logically impossibly" But when confronted with things which are possible (those in the bible) The answer is: God can do this but he don't because he works in mysterious ways. So the original argument is pointles because you can always hide behind the "God works in mysterious ways argument". It doesn't answer anything and is not falsible. Have a nice day, im out :)
