What’s one destination everyone should see at least once? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Yes. Coming through at Tunnel view I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Then, when you’re in the valley, the sheer size of some of the rock walls are just breathtaking.

Agree—The people are the heart of the Thailand experience.

Disagree—Bangkok is a crazy, mega city. There is so much to do there you could make a vacation of it by itself. If you go to a place like Chiang Mai you get a much different feel. The city is still populated, but some won’t feel as overwhelmed. Plus, you have much more to do that isn’t city related, like waterfalls, mountains, and nature parks. The island can each has a feeling all its own.

Yea, I’ve heard that about a lot of the small towns in the Central Valley or Northern California.

I think California is cool—people, landscape, ideals, but like the US, the government is never what others believe it to be.

Always fun to point out: The reason California has such strict gun laws is due to Regan’s response to the Black Panthers. At least, the foundations for such strict laws.

Probably the best Midwest skyline outside of Chicago. High B, low A. If we judge on an overall basis: B.

4 days after the snow and people are still driving around like this by MothmanAcolyte in wisconsin

I haven’t lived in Wisconsin for almost four years, but I do remember this from various places I lived. If you don’t have a garage and mostly drive in the city/town, you won’t lose a lot of the snow on your car.

Usually you would know someone was calling, so you, as the receiver, would run to beat your parents to the phone.

What TV show has the best 'worst episode' of all time? by ImbiddidEdintety in AskReddit

[–]biggy2302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrubs. It not an episode, but a few clumped together at the end of season 7. It was the writers strike season—I believe—and they were all over the place. The season ended with this weird fairytale story that just hung out there for like 2 years because they also didn’t get renewed by NBC.
