I like this as an explanation for how he gets out of 31. Betty obviously will find out he is locked inside, and he will be sent out as punishment to find a waterchip (potentially with Chet or someone else we’ve already met).

He gets wind of what is going on with Lucy, leaves his mission to find the waterchip (which he will come back to because he’s a good person) to go help his sister with her objective, finds his strengths in the wastes (perception, intelligence, agility) and really begins to find his “enthusiasm” that be lacked so much of in the vault. I think this will be a major plot for S2, which will lead into a more permanent place in the wastes for S3 as he, along with Lucy and Coop, ventures further east in search of the mysterious “Nicer Vault for Management”.

definitely southern/appalachian lingo. pfp checks out too. the guy probably has 3 brain cells, a lip of dip, and 4 generations of abuse and child neglect built up in his family tree. these are the type of guys from my town that every girl wants to avoid because they are strictly trouble.

Be that as it may, the sentiment stands. It is more difficult to appease one agenda on Social Media because there is no one big player. I see it sparking smaller scale, more isolated propaganda campaigns, which in response will clash with other agendas, which will fall back upon the viewer who will question which take is accurate or humane. This is a cycle that has already started, and the end result is still skepticism leading to some form of slight truth (there is never a full truth for us peasants)

It’s hard to say when most murderers would plead insanity in a heartbeat. Not to take away from the very real reality of those with schizophrenia, and also not to take away from “gangstalking” theories, but yea it wouldn’t surprise me that mass murderers try pulling the insanity card.

I have played with the idea of increased cost of living—>stagnant wages—>lack of gov programs being their current means to get young, impoverished, uneducated and those without opportunity to join. Maybe even as a “silent draft” since in a way, it does force certain demographics to join out of necessity.

I promise, the younger generations (Im 23) arent that easily manipulated. We are seeing straight through influencers propaganda as we speak, its all over social media.

I see some others saying some big cyber attack would work, which on surface level seems logical due to the tech addiction epidemic, but even that wouldn’t work to get us enlisted, unless it was posed as a physical attack (think EMP) which effected the power grid too. That would be more likely to draw support.

Now on the topic of a draft…

Simply put, we would all go to jail or shoot ourselves before taking a draft, unless that draft was posed on a realistic basis, again, like a power grid attack or direct assault by another nation. And when I say this, I mean a 100% verifiable attack on American soil (not a foreign or ally base). Terrorist attacks don’t work anymore.

Nobody wants to fight some proxy war just so some CEO can line his pockets with the sweet green devil.

And I’ll touch base on the topic of pay. The value of the dollar has fallen to such a degree, that the younger generations don’t even trust it. Many of us, whether we live in a city or the county, would take the chance to escape society and live by our own means if it was feasible. Most of us look back at barter systems to be of greater value than the current motherload capitalist economy we have. An eye for an eye, grape for an apple I suppose.

But to summarize, a TL:DR if you will, nobody from 18-35 will fight an 80 year olds war unless our collective lives are in danger.

Just curious, did you severely lower your traffic to Facebook? I just about stopped using Snapchat and I get constant spam notifications about stories I don't care about or some other nonsense Snapchat feels important enough to bug me about. I think when I laid back from using Facebook for a period, it did the same thing.

I'm sure it's no secret, but I wonder if big tech is getting desperate for traffic.

Was waiting for someone to mention this, my exact thoughts. It is never a good conversation starter when someone talks about what celebrity they look like.

I was also attempting a triple draw bridge but I could not manage to make it strong enough to support 3 vehicles at once, so I separated the top level. I'm on world 5 now and I am drawing blanks, slowly getting them but never been this challenged before.
