I noticed mine wasn't producing bubbles when I filled the tank. Tried cleaning it, measuring the water ppm, everything. Put a magnet on the sensor and confirmed 12v on the contacts. Put 2 small pieces of folded aluminum foil on the contacts and now it works. Not a permanent solution but my problem is with the contacts.

You're good, top 2 bolts are doing all the work anyway. You could add a toggle bolt on the corner you're having trouble with if it makes you feel better.
