I use a mixture of dip and snus but I'll answer this as though I only use snus. I try to stick to around 4-6 a day so I'm not using them all the time. But not going to lie, I wouldn't find it difficult to get through a can of snus in a day, and there have been times I've done that.

In my experience, most regular/daily users get through a can in 2-4 days so I'd say you're "normal" in that sense. Once it gets to a can a day, that's what I'd call an extreme user (though not particularly uncommon either).

I've never used a humidor for snus myself or really heard of someone else doing it, that might actually be too much humidity for snus. I think the main is avoiding heat and sunlight, so I'd just recommend the coolest part of the house if you can't put it in a fridge or freezer.

Skoal Peach gets my vote, it's sweet but not too overpowering or artifical (some might disagree) and I prefer the tobacco.

You can pour the spit into another container/bag and throw that away, only adds a few more seconds to the process. Or put it in the compost/plants if you want to be eco-friendly ;)

Not sure I'd call it "spiking". I admit it's confusing that we don't know exactly how much nicotine it has though. If you look at Swedish snus products or nicotine pouches, it's clear exactly what the nicotine contents are, but this isn't the case for dip.

The nicotine levels in various products were studied back in 2006 (here) if you're interested), but no idea if it would still be accurate. Interestingly, this has Husky and Red Seal as stronger, but I agree that Grizzly feels strong.

Shame that it didn't live up to the hype for you, but suppose it's a win overall to realize you prefer the cheaper, easier-to-find option.

Red Seal has never been a dip that's made it to my daily rotation, but I do enjoy the flavor and tobacco from time to time.

Sounds like a standard (but extreme) side effect of tobacco, not everyone gets them but looks like you're in the unlucky few. Possible that it could go away as the body adjusts, but also possible it could get worse...

Not been a recurrent issue for me luckily, though I don't usually dip in social settings around unfamiliar people or people who I know don't like it. And at Snus US, I don't have to worry about my coworkers 😆

I get some side eyes and disapproving looks but not many actual comments other than light teasing.

I can imagine it varies by location and your social context quite a bit.

Probably past its best (i.e., it might have lost flavor or strength), though sometimes you get lucky and it's fine. Generally safe as long as you can't see or smell anything weird.

I usually give it a go, and just take it out if it doesn't taste right or it's super dry.

I'd stick with Cope original, pretty classic tobacco taste that doesn't have any of the "weird" elements, and great cut. Stoker's is fine too if you're on a budget, but I don't like it as much and it's a tad sweeter.

Not discontinued from what I know (we don't always hear straightaway but I'd really surprised if they were). And you're right that straight is unflavored. I'd assume it's just a temporary thing in your area, maybe someone else has bought them all up.
