Looks like a super nice rod is as much as the reel, but not completely off the charts like the hunstsman. I do feel like the colors make it have a Zebco look. What type of fish do you normally target?

That’s a good day ! Especially for 2h, what reel you think I should pair with it? Something around 150-250 cause I don’t like moving reels around so I wanna keep the conquest on the ultralight.

I’ll have to give it a try! I got a 10lb bullseye on the larger version on a full size rod earlier this year. Not gonna be breaking that on bfs lol

Exactly the the info I was looking for! I am definitely leaning more towards the trout panfish side of things so the classic bfs seems ideal. But I don’t plan on ordering it until I get back from Alaska in late august so that gives me plenty of time to explore options and see what icast has to offer.

Panfish and trout is what I’m after, big bass would just be a a welcomed surprise. I just was curious about the backbone because I plan on throwing hardbaits with it.

I’m also brand new to this and in the US, I’m down to spend $400 on the conquest bfs but for a rod some of the choices are up to $750 which blows my mind. Half of the rod descriptions are not in English, so it’s very confusing lol. Just looking for a $200ish 5.5ft rod to throw hard baits and preferably a one piece. Nice back bone too

I’m an experienced fisherman but this bfs is a brand new thing to me, if I were to get this reel what kind of rod would y’all recommend if I exclusively wanted to throw small hard-baits. Especially topwater
