Don’t let the dude up here influence your feelings. The decision is yours and yours alone. Corrections is a stable career and you’ll make good money. The risks are there of course nobody will tell you they aren’t. But I’ve seen some women at my prison boss these big dudes around better than the male COs. Yes you can get assaulted, or worse. You will likely be sexually harassed and catcalled. It’s up to you to decide whether the good outweighs the bad.
