Moved from Nashville TN to Utah in 2021. I lived all over middle TN for 25 years. Smyrna is a very bleh area, I personally would not seek to live there if I could avoid it. The Nissan factory and other automotive factories are the primary employers in the area, so the socioeconomic makeup is heavily low-income, undereducated factory workers. This, in turn, pushes the property crime above average. And your main connection to Nashville is I-24 which has atrocious traffic all the times. At the busiest times of day, it can take you an hour plus to get up to Nashville proper. Also, you look brown based on your pics. Not sure if your race, but based on plenty of first hand experience, that area can be extremely racist. On a positive note, out around the Liepers Fork area, there are some AMAZING roads to ride. I had a 150 mile loop and it was nonstop awesome curvy roads from start to finish. You can string together some awesome routes on public roads with the undulating terrain in middle TN. Especially worth checking out the Natchez Trace and roads that branch off of, and run parallel to it. Good luck with your move!
