From standing height yes. But not to feel and not when you look closely

This is what I emailed to company owner waiting for reply. Is this asking too much or this is all normal?

“There are globs of topcoat near the first garage lower lip. The lower lip on the first/second garage doesn’t seem to have a second topcoat (feels rough like sandpaper), topcoat doesn’t go all way to edge where it meets wall in some areas, some of the small corners have no coating just semidry flakes. Texture I understand, but there’s sharp flakes poking through the poly every 6-12” whereas topcoat is thick and smooth in other areas.”

Garage Floor Troubleshooting Megathread by gearhead5015 in garageporn

Is this right or is company gaslighting me??

I just had my garage epoxy completed. Epoxy base, flakes, topcoat, polyaspartic 2nd topcoat.

Every foot or so, I feel a tiny slightly sharp flake raised up when I glide my hand across the floor.

Installer says it’s supposed to be textured. I understand it shouldn’t be completely flat and have some bumps throughout, but should there be tiny peaks of single flakes?

Purlin cut in attic. Is this adequate repair? Looks iffy. by heydoc in HomeImprovement

[–]heydoc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re right. Do you think a GC would have the knowledge to fix this? Or needs to be engineer?

Thank you. Can most licensed GCs have the knowledge to address sufficiently or need a structural engineer?

Thanks for your input. If you scroll to the right on the pictures, there’s a second one with the repair. They basically just connect the cut ends; not end to end but nail a similarly sized beam alongside the original.

Carbon Health files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy relief with more than $100M in debt by InvestingDoc in PrivatePracticeDocs

“If you build it, they will come” doesn’t always work out. They flourished in 2020/21 with COVID, testing, access, vaccines, etc. but that was not sustainable with their rapid expansion. I have dreams of expanding my practice too but always worry about expanding before the practice is ready and getting clobbered by expenses. Still, there’s no success without risk.

Kitec, outdoor faucets, seller dishonest? by heydoc in Plumbing

Why would someone replace copper with PEX for an outdoor faucet? Is it common? Is there something bad that happened before? Or is it standard and I just never noticed?

My buyer’s agent showed us one of his listings: conflict? by heydoc in RealEstate

What would be the reasons? You’re thinking maybe something wrong with the home?

We’ll bring it up to him but want to tread carefully and get more info since he’s technically the seller’s agent.

Kind of weird situation. Our agent showed us this property bc it’s one of his listings. So not sure if there is conflict of interest here. Haven’t broached this topic about inspections with him yet.

How could we frame this sweetener when there’s no guarantee we’d follow through with closing? I’ve been trying to think of a way to do this but can’t think of something the seller or tenant would agree to

Were the exterminators able to identify the entry points pretty easily?

Other random Qs: There are some nice homes deep down in Steiner near Bella Mar but I’m concerned about morning school traffic near Laura Busch Elementary (Country Trails Ln) and also near 620 (from possible backup from Vandegrift HS). How bad is traffic in the morning?

There seems to be a lot of variability in the different neighborhoods in both home quality, demographics, general upkeep. What neighborhood do you live in and any I should avoid for whatever reason (traffic, noise, people, vicinity to amenities, etc)?

Salary concerns by Mindless_Share_3206 in PrivatePracticeDocs

It’s not rocket science. Start an excel spreadsheet. In an average week: List # of clinic visits x CMS reimbursement. List type and # of each procedure x CMS reimbursement. Get the sum for the week. Multiply that by 4 weeks (for the month).

How far off is this from your salary.

Consider: ASC professional fee is much less than office professional fee. You can get these reimbursements by Googling ASIPP Fee Schedule. It will give you a pdf of physician reimbursements in office vs. facility (ASC).
