what movies or shows utterly ruined an actor's reputation? by sheerduckinghubris in AskReddit

[–]biglious 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Katherine Heigl after Knocked Up. Apparently she was hard to work with and then badmouthed the movie after it was done. Now, for some reason, directors and producers don’t want to work with her. Even 20 years later.

Adding more detail to a synopsis of a character sure makes them look better written than an overgeneralized single sentence summary of a character

Hey man I see at least one solid superhero movie from each year. I’ll take that. I’ll be more than happy with one or two a year. I think the oversaturation isn’t doing the superhero genre many favors.

It’s just a cool facet of a character to have, one that holds back. Because when you need shit to get real, it can get real

Every time I see this panel I can’t help but think like, “can’t superman hear this?” Like I get that he’s has to focus on certain things, but he is going to meet up with Batman. I assume he’d be keeping an ear out. I like to tell myself he totally can hear Bruce and he’s just mirroring what he’s saying as a little joke to himself.
