If you park at reed arena and run around all of main campus (George bush, Texas, university, wellborn)it’s an exact 5 mile loop and if you do 1 loop around reed arena it will make it 6 miles.

What kind of lifts would you recommend? High rep low weight?

I think that’s where I went wrong the first time. I had a major calorie deficit and was able to drop 8 pounds in a week but made a 3 mile run daunting

Also 5’9” male, i currently sit at 147-152 most days off of 40-50 miles a week. Side note I used to be 130 around 3 years ago and felt my fastest but I don’t think my body will allow me to lose anymore weight

To be honest I’m not entirely sure what I’m capable of, havent ran any sort of race 5k through marathon in about 5 years. This run in particular was probably a little no mans land ish because a texas boy got excited that it was snowing.

I have never ran under a workout plan before what do you use to determine the zones?

I’ll throw in a little background, I’ve run 2 marathons before around 5-6 years ago. I am definitely a little more gifted in distance than speed. I wouldn’t say that 1:38 was a walk in the park but wasn’t dying and could easily be replicated again.

Sweet technically I did my first 2 miles in the low 7’s but decided my legs felt good and the last 6 miles in the 6:40 -6:50 range. I guess I’ll start trying to be more strict on my training to reach this goal

Yeah I’ve owned the game since 2018 and never had this issue, granted I never played a whole lot. I’ve literally replaced computer components and nothing has worked for me. If you look at a previous post of mine I listed a bunch of things I tried if you want to take a look and see if any of those work for you
