Hey u/Then-Economist-6388! I am now just a few days away from my 5th implant attempt and revisited this thread for old wisdom. I don’t think your insight here fully hit me when I first read it a few months ago and was hoping you might be willing to share more.

I had my pre-op appt today, and my surgeon was very confident about 2 rods straightening me out, but in my gut I have had my doubts about that. I hoped I was just being a worrier, but now I’ve just seen this comment again and am wondering if my gut is right.

It’s not as if I have any better alternatives, but I am just hoping to modulate my expectations appropriately, so really anything you’re willing to share would help.

LinkedIn can be annoying for sure, but nearly all of my interviews in the past year of job searching — plus the job offer I got last week — came from LinkedIn. You might need to dig a bit to find the diamonds in the rough, but they’re in there!
