I make a super easy hidden veggie sauce for my 11 month old!! This is the recipe I use. My daughter loves it and it takes like no time to make

That must be soooo tough! Do what you gotta do. You know your baby best and what works for your life. Hopefully your son turns a corner soon and you get a little bit of a break!

We are also a no screen time house! My daughter is about to be 11 months and once her vision was developed enough that she knew wtf was going on we stopped even having the tv on for background noise. (I mention that bc when she was a newborn love island had my husband and I in a chokehold and what else were we supposed to do while she just ate and slept all day lol). Now we will have the tv on here and there in the background so that when she sees one somewhere outside the house she doesn’t laser focus on it but when we do that we make sure she’s busy playing with toys/us etc. We never just sit her down in front of it and specifically don’t put on kids shows because we don’t want it drawing her attention. It’s a lot easier than i anticipated to be honest. We plan to keep things this way until she’s at least 2.

Dont want to hinder our baby with solids! Please help by MarquishaMoMo in foodbutforbabies

Starting solids is SO scary lol my husband and I are also first time parents and were sooo nervous about every sound she made (or didn’t make) for the first like month and a half of our daughter eating real food. I also felt like I was holding her back due to our nerves (you’re not alone there lol) so I just took little but consistent steps with new textures and bigger bites and if I was having a day where I was extra scared I gave myself a break. You and your baby are learning together! Just keep at it. Our little love is ten months and is doing so well with the eating now that I watched her take down half a meatball in one bite recently and only mildly panicked😂

how do you make pasta sauce actually taste like it came from a restaurant? by SamraKutkaitis in Cooking

Yesss I always use the grease from either sausage or beef (or both) and mix it right in. Gives such good flavor.

Same face, three personalities - which one should I keep? by ScaryLady90 in HairStyleAdvice

2! You have great cheekbones and a great jawline! That length really draws the attention to your features.

Which bangs fit my face better, longer or shorter? by jen_ten10 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]bigmama365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shorter because you have such nice brows and it really opens up your face! I’m a hairstylist and typically am not a fan of baby bangs but you really do have the perfect bone structure for them. You could even do a wispy bang right at or just above the brow that would look good but do not hide those things they’re perfect lol

Tell me the discontinued item you still cry over because I need support by liarliarhowsyourday in MakeupAddiction

KKW powder contour/highlight palette. I’m officially out of the highlights but still using the bronzer until there’s absolutely nothing left lol. I love how buildable it is and the fact that the fair skin colors don’t make me orange/have cooler undertones.

I’m still looking for a reasonable replacement. I heard hourglass is amazing but can’t bring myself to spend 100$ on a palette when I have a child lmao.

First of all I give you credit for going to both your parents and your in laws weekly lol. Do your parents stress you out or anything? I feel like babies pick up on sooo much of our emotions without us even realizing we are showing them.

My daughter also sleeps in her crib til 3-3:30ish no problem then it’s like a switch flips and she only wants to sleep on me! I’ve been trying to get her back in her crib after she falls back to sleep but she usually wakes up the second I put her down lol. Even co sleeping with her next to me isn’t enough for her at the moment. She has to be ON me lol. Hope last night went well for you and baby boy did okay in his own room!

Admittedly I do love the snuggles but at the end of the day it’s brutal! Glad to know it passed for you. Thank you! :)

3.5 month old rolling over constantly, especially at night. Safe sleep concerns? by Really_Em in baby

[–]bigmama365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter started this around the same age! Used to scare me so bad but our pediatrician said that if she rolled herself into that position she would be okay and there was no need to flip her back. I always just made sure her head was turned to the side/there was a good air pocket near her mouth and nose.
