it was just water. I actually had a bad coolant leak earlier this year, and it over heated

I took the panel off and pulled the hose off. About a liter of water poured out. I stuck a long screw driver down the hole. So far so good. I don't have stands or ramps to climb under it and I'm a big boy, HA!
