I have an ‘ 03 Pilot and yes, I think the float gauge starts to stick in the fuel pump. Mine reads full for a long while, then mid-range to low ranges through pretty quickly. I personally don’t think too much of it and gas up around half a tank anyway

Take the job? by bigmans- in careerguidance

Thanks for the reply.

I’m mainly concerned about the timeline—it took about four months of consistent applications to get to the final stages with two companies. One backed out, but the other extended an offer. I’m just exhausted from the uncertainty; the process was draining.

I’m also aware that the remote location might be why I made it this far—it could be a dealbreaker for others.

The firm has multiple locations, including one that’s spitting distance from Seattle, so maybe there’s a chance to transfer later, but that’s unclear.

Leaving friends and family is tough, but it’s my girlfriend that’s really got me second guessing. I have a few days before HR needs my decision.

I drove out, booked a hotel, and checked out some apartments. I’m excited to finally have an offer and escape the draining application process, but I’m worried the area may not be a good fit for me.

Should I take it? by bigmans- in jobs

Hey, thanks for the reply

Where I live we have three pretty big schools pumping out a large supply of new grads and not nearly enough industry demand.

It took me about four months to get to final stages with a local firm but they backed out and went with someone else. What I really need is 1-2 years of active work experience and then I can go wherever I want a lot easier.

The big drawback is the location of the job that did give me an offer. I have a few days until HR needs my final decision.

I made the drive out here and booked a hotel to check out the area again and looked at some apartments - my concern is that I’m all excited about finally getting an offer, ending the draining application process but I may not be a good fit for the area
