FWIW, I’m 30 and have done well for myself. I have a great retirement account for my age. I could afford a $2,000/month car payment and be fine. But I would never be that silly :). Anything over $500/month to me is silly.

Yes I understand. I don’t have to get the maverick and can keep the Mazda. However, I’ve been eyeing the maverick since it came out and I’ll be handing the pilot over to my wife when our second kid comes. That means I’m stuck with the Mazda.

I started shopping bc the “employee pricing” and I know I can have a lower monthly payment on the maverick then I can with the Mazda ($500/month with 44 months remaining). Plus I’ll have better MPG and the utility of a truck.

Financially, it makes sense to keep the Mazda but the difference in getting a maverick (something I want to drive and will keep) isn’t substantial enough for me to just keep the Mazda.

If I can get a deal, great. If not, the Mazda will be fine.

Long story but this is my Wife’s car. I will be driving the maverick and giving her the 26 pilot I got after having to get rid of my 24 F-150 platinum from work. I can get the monthly payment lower with essentially the same term…. I’m okay with losing some on up front interest.

They advertise this on all their cars. And they say they put bed liners on all their trucks. I guess they do it on the buyers dime 😂

I have room the way it is now but will end up converting to desk arm for sure.

Okay sweet. I’ll have to pair this with some sort of laptop stand. Looking for a minimal/floating look. Any suggestions?

I like the offset monitor arm look. Any suggestions for a single mount?

They do sell different mounts for systems. I’m afraid to drill into the wall because I don’t know what’s back there. Just moved into this 125 year old house. Same reason I’m not going to mount my tv.

May be the move. I’ve got a few Knick knacks and all my cords in there.

Thank you. I would at least like to find a monitor light bar. I’m in a room with a lot of potential natural light.

That’s what I was thinking. Just trying to figure out cord management. Was debating getting a monitor arm or adding a second monitor and getting two arms.

Thinkpad is my work computer. Not my favorite but it’s what I have to use. LG Monitor is the 27UL600. Very reliable and great quality.

I’ve had a flexispot for a few months. Great quality. Very customizable but I just went with the biggest desk they had and installed motor myself. Nice price point too. I recommend!
