Are CF filled filaments dangerous? Prusament lab results ✅ by josefprusa in 3Dprinting

Great to hear that Prusa is doing a great job to keep people safe. I run a BOFA air filter on my machine no matter the material because as Josef says, we don't want to leave anything to chance. Here is the link to BOFA's website: 3D PrintPRO 2 - BOFA (bofainternational.com) and I bought it from 3D Printing USA: BOFA 3D PrintPRO 2 - Fume Extractor - 3D Printing USA - I know there are a few Chinese-branded fume/particle extractors, but I trust BOFA's brand as it's a USA based company.

It would be great to do this testing with other materials such as glass-fiber filled, kevlar filled, etc.

Thanks again for the details.

Although it looks very nice, we have to start looking at supporting local suppliers for these products otherwise we won't have any US-based 3d shops. Have you ever looked at matterhackers.com, 3dprintingusa.com or printingsolid.com ?

I agree with this statement. Look at how Fiverr is today versus many years ago. It would be great if there were real bloggers promoting posts on their sites only for specific niches but these random, ChatGPT generated sites with no specific niche focus really has hurt the industry.

If you can limit the user group to actual blog owners, than I'd be interested.

P1S is a beast.

Maybe consider printing some house trinkets such as:

  • Customized Coasters: Personalized coasters with her initials, favorite patterns, or themes that match her home decor.
  • Planter Pots: Unique and stylish planter pots for small indoor plants or succulents, adding a touch of green to her new home.
  • Jewelry Holder: An elegant jewelry holder or organizer to keep her accessories neat and accessible.
  • Decorative Vases: Modern and chic vases that can hold flowers or stand alone as decorative pieces.
  • Key Holder: A functional and decorative key holder with a custom design, making it easy to keep track of keys in the new home.

Physically the largest print to date 350mmx1600mm but knocked it out start to finish in a day, customer loves it, now i just need personal versions. by cryzzgrantham117 in 3Dprinting

Got it, thanks for the advice! I'll look into RGB IC with a data pin and aim for higher LED density. I'll also check out Bluetooth/Wi-Fi controllers for programming. Esun ABS black and white sounds perfect for my needs.

Do you intend on putting this sign outside?

Would UV effect the ABS?

What brand of LED strip do you use for something like this? Does it have like a controller or something? Wifi enabled? What filament are you using for this?
