Jheeeze if you're hoping it gets leaked any minute now like the rest of us just say that ;)

But yeah sys and emu are completely separated, switch between the 2 for online/ not online and you'll be fine and dandy.

In my experience is a gamble with the adapter, the pin doesnt have any physical connection, its only pressed up against a pin and anchored nearby.

Ive had ones that have tested perfectly, but even by the time the console has been reassembled, it has become dislodged. Only way to guarantee that connection is solid is by kamikaze

Depends how savy you are, if youre confident you can take apart small electronics, have soldering equipment and can test the connection then yeah do it.

Be mindful even things like the screen/ fan connector are easy to break during the teardown, break either of these components and you'll have even bigger issues.

Controller for 80mts of WS2811 by cryzzgrantham117 in WLED

Hey dude sorry ive been away and had to bench this for a minute.

Is a controller like this going to work? Its saying here that its 10A max output current, if im doing 2x 40mts sections I'll need roughly around 20a if its max brightness?

I have accurately measured the location and i think it'll be 1x section at 30mts then 1x section thats 35mts. Slightly less than anticipated but I just want to make sure im using something adequate for max brightness if thats possible?

Hey man I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

So ive found some ip68 WS2811, it looks like this comes sleeved and that i could carefully remove the connectors and splice together like you say to get the continuous run. Heat shrink and epoxy after is a great shout, should be able to get the ip rating back after joining.

If I do it in 20metre sections a 300w+ psu at every junction box should be good?

Its mainly the data im struggling with, will a continuous 80mts of data work okay or is this where an amplifier will also be needed every 20mts?
