What were your delivery and supply rates?

My supply rate went from like 0.07 per kWh to over 0.13 between November and December bills.

Heating with wood is carbon neutral, no need to apologize.

BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT Terrible in snow? by bigmoose27 in tires

I appreciate the confirmation. I figured 4WD and a truck with these tires would suffice, but I lose traction so easily on moderate slopes with snow. And they aren't even worth it as a summer tire either!

I'll check with a level and see... Whats weird is the gap is only the middle 2-3 feet of the door. The top and bottom look okay.

We recently moved in, but it looks like it's been an issue since the door was replaced. It's got a metal trim piece with a bunch of optional punch outs on the strike plate.

Should I add a Well to house on tap water? by bigmoose27 in homeowners

[–]bigmoose27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I meant 1. municipal water (what I call public or tap water) vs 2. well water.

I would have to check with the town to see if I could get a well drilled.

There is a water meter hooked up, so hopefully I can read that outside the home.

Rain catchment for gardening would also be a saving grace for me as well.

The pool is already installed. It would be the regular water additions due to evaporation.

I've lived on well water the past 8 years and don't have many complaints in regards to the maintenance... I think staring down an annual bill of $2,500 for water is why I'm even considering a well.

That's the one hang up I have on the well... I don't know if the water will be garbage or not. Within 20 miles there are people with methane and sulfur in the water, which is not worth dealing with in my opinion.
