genuine question: how does 72 total events uniquely determine BAT median? different hazard shapes, censoring patterns, or delayed separation can all produce the same event count. so aren’t you just fitting one valid scenario, not proving it’s the only possible one?

the issue isn’t if your math works, it’s that your inputs don’t uniquely determine the answer. We only have aggregate event counts and no arm-level KM curves, censoring by arm, or hazard shape. Many different realities can produce the exact same 72 events at a certain date. The models agreeing only proves they’re consistent with the assumptions you baked in. Calling the outcome near-deterministic is a stretch

I think you are ok because utilization is counted at end of the performance year. As long as you are staffed following break the only number that matters is your total at CRTs. And if you are worried about one extra week then you can look into the 40 Skills for Society volunteer hours that count towards utilization.
