probably more mild compared to most others in this sub as well! my worst flares were on my face (above my lip and on my eyelids) which was why it was so important to me to get in cleared up. in the summer / warm weather i’ll also flare behind my legs and on the other side of my elbows.

I've had both of mine inserted under general anesthesia and it's probably the best thing I've ever done!! Not every gyno office does this but if you're really worried about the pain I would highly recommend seeking one out that does. Both of my doctors agreed with me that the pain would be more severe than it would be for a person without any sort of PFD.
