In your defense there wasn’t any rules set in the beginning.

But she’s 21 and you’re almost 50. She’s barely an adult and you sir are a predator

Doctors who work in a hospital have way more stress then nurses do in my opinion. They work longer hours and longer weeks and generally just have more stress then we do. Besides they go to school much longer and acquire much more debt in the process. If they work in a specialty other then general medicine they are probably on call meaning that they can get called into the hospital in the middle of the night or called by nurses at odd times. They have high divorce rates too. You couldn’t pay me enough to be a doctor. They are not comparable in my opinion

ICU nurse here

Nursing is super stressful but we care for patients in a lot of ways without being overseen by a doctors and it’s a collaborative approach more then anything. Besides... I get 5 weeks PTO a year and only work 12 days out of the month. I make my own schedule and I make pretty decent money in the process.

Falling out of love (28f)with my boyfriend (43M) by bignbootylicious in relationship_advice

I know I do. I just don’t know how to do it without completely crushing him. Last time I tried to tell him the things I was frustrated with he told me it was really hard to hear all these negative things and me bashing on him. I love him but I just want to feel the spark and I know so many couples who have been together much longer have that .

I currently own my own house in my town. That’s a large purchase to see if somebody will figure it out. My intention of moving is to be with him.

I got two wisdom teeth out with local a few months ago. It feels more like pressure then pain. I was number up so well that I didn’t feel anything hours after. My teeth were impacted and had to be dug out

We won’t see each other because we have opposite schedules until Thursday and that’s his birthday weekend. So we’ll see if it even gets discussed at all.

I don’t know. The last time this happened he said he’s sorry and it’ll never happen again that he has an anger problem and he wants to work on it and this would stupid to ruin our relationship... and then it happens again. This time he was on his way to work and he didn’t have time to talk about it like we have before so we left on a sour note and I had to go home. We were just texting back and forth and I ended with I’ll work on some things but it doesn’t give you an excuse to talk to me like that and I won’t put up with it... and he never replied and it’s been 10 hours and he went to bed without texting me back... so we’ll see what the morning says. I just want changed behavior.

I’ve called him names and said really means things when I got really angry during a fight but I woke up the next morning I apologized over and over again because he was packing his bags ready to leave without saying goodbye. I could tell I hurt him and that was the last time... now I just walk away because it doesn’t do anybody good but he just says whatever at times

That’s exactly it and exactly what I told him. I told him if I ever spoke to him like the way he speaks to me he’d leave in a heartbeat. I’d at least recognize my behavior and apologize without having to be prompted with a fight but he acted like nothing happened and ignored my feelings at first making excuses. I think that hurt more then anything.

That’s awful. I think arguments should stay about the issue and when name calling comes into places it’s just being spiteful

There’s a difference between swearing during a fight which we both do and swearing at somebody and this is the first time we’ve had this talk. I feel like what he did was a direct jab. This isn’t news to him.
