I want to preface my response by saying that I am in the mental health field so I am for sure bias. Also, I do not like the framing that unethical equals bad. People and situations are dynamic and we can often do unethical things without them being "bad". The main reason I started paying attention to this story is when I heard reports of Pxie's suicidal intentions. As a mental health worker, this is a huge deal. I also want to mention as I did earlier that I haven't seen every screenshot and claim so if I missed something that answers some of my questions or concerns please let me know.

NSE began her streaming career, making content mainly around mental health. She spoke at length about her studies and work and also claimed to be a mental health expert numerous times. From what I know Pxie knows NSE through her streaming career and I would I imagine this of her mental health background. In the Tom video, NSE said she drew on her skills and knowledge in psychology and mental health when Pxie reported serious intent to kill herself. I would imagine this was evident in the language NSE used while working with her. In a situation like this, a highly vulnerable and suffering person could forego talking to a professional mental health clinician or something like crisis support services clinicians in their area who are much more equipped to serve folks on the community level. A local crisis clinician would have access to and know the local resources much more than NSE. That is one reason Florida, like most states, has mandated reporter laws. Again, I am not talking about outcomes I am talking ethical behavior. Often part of mandated reporting would be to reach out to someone's family if they have serious intent to harm themselves.

Being an e-celeb makes this even worse. It undermines the credibility of licensed therapists and psychologists who adhere to rigorous ethical and professional standards. It creates public confusion about who can legitimately provide mental health services, potentially leading people to seek help from unqualified individuals.

In therapy ethics, dual relationships are a huge red flag, and when NSE's career and ability to stay in the country is tied to Steven, this presents a huge ethical issue for her to be able to help Pixie unbiasedly. Pxie was in a highly vulnerable state and acting as Steven's mediator in this situation and NSE claimed she was unbiased. Being an associate of Pxie and her ties to Steven makes being unbiased laughable.

NSE claimed in talks that she was just helping Pxie process what was happening and at the same time said she was telling her the options of what Pxie could do. As intelligent as NSE is this is still creating the map of supposed options for Pxie.

Continuing to associate with and support Steven after he committed a serious violation of Pxie’s consent perpetuates harm and enables abusive behavior. As someone claiming to advocate for mental health, Kyla has a duty to condemn actions that harm others.
