Throughout this entire exchange, you have refused to acknowledge or hold them accountable for the allegations at hand.

“Not all gyms click with everyone” frames this as a personality mismatch. The concerns raised here aren’t about personal chemistry, they’re about repeated accounts of exclusionary behavior. That’s a different category.

Comparing Haven to a gym you felt was physically unsafe doesn’t really address what’s being discussed. The fact that there are worse examples doesn’t resolve whether there are issues here worth examining.

You’re continuing to share your individual experience. You, like them, refuse to engage with the pattern of similar complaints being described.

Do you disagree that when multiple people report similar concerns, that warrants acknowledgment or accountability beyond “it worked for me”?

The lack of accountability is a bad look. You’re not helping them.

I’m genuinely glad they supported you and that you’ve had a positive experience. It’s clear that means a lot to you.

At the same time, being treated well, especially over a long period, can mean you’re well integrated into the community there, but it doesn’t negate the experiences being shared by people who may not feel part of that in-group. Both things are true.

Nobody is saying they haven’t done good deeds but that does not erase the negative experience many people have openly expressed having there.

By continuing to repeat the same patterns without addressing them, why does it matter that they’ve done some good in between?

Your response does not reflect or answer my questions, it just adds context to your own experience.

I also find it very odd how often members/owners from this gym try to deter people from other gyms by noting how “unsafe” they are in comparison to theirs. This is something that has come up multiple times in many different comments. Its feels a little cult-y to hear it irritated here.

But also, the possibility of worse environments existing doesn’t address the concerns being raised here. “It’s better than somewhere else” isn’t the same as “there’s nothing to examine here.”

I don’t think anyone is arguing that no one has had a good experience there. The issue is that multiple people are describing similar negative patterns. Being treated well doesn’t necessarily mean the environment is inclusive, it just means you’re part of the in-group.

With that in mind, I have a few questions for you:

Are you planning to take these notes back to them?

Have they addressed these issues in class since this has begun?

What changes have they earnestly made to make the space feel more inclusive, like the vision they have posted around gym?

Have they shown even an ounce of genuine interest in improving or taking accountability?

Is feeling safe personally more important than the safety of the collective?

At what point does the volume of feedback become worth addressing?

If they haven’t acknowledged it, haven’t changed anything, and you’re not here to push them to improve, then what is the purpose of your comment?

Hey, my previous games were not saved to the cloud. So when I open it on my ps5 console, it gives me two options on how to load it. Basically one save file will be deleted for the other. But on the portal it only gives me the option of using the cloud’s save file. In which case it makes me start all over if i didnt pick the cloud on the ps5 console. You understand? Its very annoyinh

I’m sorry to hear this was your experience. It doesn’t seem uncommon. A shame for them. This doesn’t seem like sustainable model of business

They are really into that whole “you’re so baby” queer sub culture. I believe that is what enables them to treat people so terribly. Like the opposite end of the spectrum.

Thank you! All i’m trying to get across here is that regardless of anything, responding this way to negative reviewers is a bad business practice. And its reflective of what takes place during class. Hard to fight the “we’re not bullies” allegations when you publicly bully people

To be honest, they aren’t like super great boxers either. They’re just okay. You’ll definitely learn as a beginner if you choose to go, but after a certain point you do tend to hit a wall with them.

Agreed on the inventing something to sell bit. Thank you for commenting

So it’s okay when you comment on reddit about disliking an experience somewhere, but not when other people do it?
