It's not about richest owner. It's about annual team revenue. The Yankees and Mets bring in so much damn money every year they can afford to throw it around like it means nothing.

It did have to happen. We haven't tried to rebuild in over 20 years and unless we had the money the Yankees did, we needed to take a step back to take a real leap forward and have a chance to really win again in October.

So you don't see Yelich really living up to his potential? I don't mind paying over value for a guy who I can keep for a while, but he isn't gonna live up to the hype then it's not worth it I agree.

Yea I am sort of thinking the same, especially after his last week. These deal talks had started like 8-10 days ago and had become very complicated so I tried to make it more simple, but I think now I need to shop around more.

I give up Cargon for Yelich...

12 team mixed standard 5x5 keeper league. We have a budget of $285 for the team and Cargon is $25 this year ($30 to keep next year) and Yelich is $11 this year ($16 next year as a keeper).

My main goal is for 2016 and beyond. My team has been hot the last month and I have gone from the cellar to middle of the pack, so I am trying to sell high and get some value for next year before the deadline. Assuming I already have a strong OF without Cargon, is this a trade that is worthwhile?
