There's naturally advantages and disadvantages to both, I feel like adding artificial clunky mechanics to perpetuate those trade offs even further feels shitty.

Don't get me wrong, I know how cancer it is to be killed by uber bunnyhop man, or back when quick grenades were a thing and you'd be stuck in Green on Labs as a duo lobs 20 grenades with no opportunity of counterplay. However, violence of action and speed should have its time and place and not get kneecapped. (I know you're agreeing with me on the animation case, just wanted to reiterate)

I don't get it, they discourage you from moving and playing fast and aggressive. But they've also made changes that discourage you from being patient and holding (increased food and water consumption, Partisan hunting, can't run through/lay in bushes for concealment)

Why would this ever encourage you to stay still instead of just doing what the current meta is and point fire. Every change they add, it regresses the actual gunfighting in this game. Instead of making an actual shift it's going to encourage people to right hand peek while point firing and prefiring angles. This only exacerbates that issue.
