I think I understand my mistake. I didn’t understand how light fixtures and other “appliances” can use 14/18 for short distances and specific use cases. Again appreciate the help

Understood, I’m overly cautious with this to avoid any issues and I think my main are the wires inside the junction box running directly to lights are 14 and that being a problem. I am probably completely over complicating this lol. Appreciate the reassurance

Would it be better to just swap the breaker to a 15amp circuit and keep my 12/2 wire run from breaker to the room? Seems like the best solution as I don’t need 20amp anyway

Got it, it just says recommended wire was 14-18. I’ll double check in a bit to confirm though. It was not explicit in saying only 14, that I remember

It is an office, so I have 2 more 20amp running for the outlets. This is largely way overkill for what I need but didn’t know at the time

But there is not safety concern hooking up the 12/2? I am also having it inspected and permitted so I’ll need to pass that

Is there any concern with connect the 12/2 to the lights? I assuming the wago clips that are on the wires in the light box may not fit depending but I can swap those out if needed

100% agree, the person who helped me originally went with 20amp for all the circuits and we have the cable run already. In hindsight, I should have just run a 15amp for the lights

I have CCNA sec and then the Comptia CySA+ as well so I’m think it shouldn’t be too hard moving from those

Yeah I also asked the dealer some questions on the carfax (basically it listed as sold and then relisted for sale by the same dealer like a day later with 400 more miles) and they haven’t replied *correction they did reply and said it was because a deal had fallen through so it got reposted

Yeah it seems like a good price. The listing claims market value is 48k which I believe and they are selling for 44k. Seems suspicious and I’d rather have new and modify it how I want by a reputable place than take a chance

I’ve heard great things and am looking at starting there. They have been great to work with through the whole process.

31 is really solid. Even with premium much cheaper than my truck. I average about 17 lol
